Welcome To JAMA Ministries!
We believe it is God’s will to join Dwight and Kristi in Pro-Vision in Axapusco Mexico, to settle down and make a life there for our family. We want to help expand the ministry by taking the parts that we are talented as so they can step up to the many opportunities that are pouring in and expand Pro-vision to its fullest.
Jon will be a liaison to open the doors to other countries in Latin America. Many invitations have been coming from countries in Latin America that are in need of revival and want Pro-Vision to share their ministry with them. Jon will also be a huge help in the office keeping the computers, network, website and business running smoothly.
Angie will fulfill the orders for printed curriculum. This will include, coordinating printing runs and just in time production to deliver the curriculum. She will also be able to use her experience with children by writing and producing craft books and writing curriculum for the youngest age groups. Also, she will use her planning and coordinating gifts to keep operations humming during the tour season.
For a few years Dwight and Kristi have been asking us to join their ministry which you can read about here. In September 2011 we took a trip to Axapusco, a little town outside of Mexico City, Mexico to look at what it would take to become a part of their ministry. During our amazing trip we felt God also calling us to join Pro-Vision.
We can answer this call with your help. During our trip in September we discovered what it will take to live there. We found good solutions for housing, groceries, school, and transportation. Basically we found that with expected medical costs, food, housing etc. we will need about $4000 a month. In addition to monthly support the move down will cost about $15,000.
The move down will be long and the move into the house will be very different from American houses. The homes down there do not come with a kitchen sink, stove, or light sockets. It takes a lot of work to make a house a home in Mexico. So we are expecting a long adjustment period where we learn how to live in Mexico. Slowly but surely we start working at the Pro-Vision office where we will put in about 60 hours a week together. Our goal is to be missionaries in Mexico and Latin America term, making return trips to stay connected with friends and family.
Will you help us live in Mexico so we can minister alongside Dwight and Kristi and answer the call God has asked us to fulfill without spending time and energy earning money? This is a freedom that will allow us to reach Latin America Sunday school teachers to equip and train them. We have the opportunity to reach a whole generation of Latino children with the Gospel. Who knows what those children will grow up and do, they could change the world. We want to be part of that!
